Call for Applications for Scientific Co-chair for the 2028 Triennial Congress to be held in Singapore

 

IFSHT seeks experienced occupational or physio/physical therapists from full member societies to apply for the role of Co-Chair of the Scientific Program Committee for the 2028 IFSHT Triennial Congress.

The next congress will be a joint congress with IFSSH, to be held in Singapore 23-27, October 2028. The IFSHT appointed Co-Chair will work in partnership with the local host (Singapore Association of Hand Therapy) society appointed Co-Chair to arrange the scientific program for the congress. This individual will collaborate closely with other members of the organizing committee to ensure the congress is a success.

Key Responsibilities

·     Developing the scientific program and themes for the congress

·     Coordinating with keynote speakers and session chairs

·     Reviewing and selecting abstracts and papers for presentation

·     Ensuring smooth execution of sessions during the congress

·     Handling any issues that arise regarding the scientific content

Required Qualifications

·     Strong organizational skills

·     Experience in scientific research and presentation

·     Proven ability to collaborate and lead teams

·     Excellent communication skills

·     Experience with academic conferences preferred
