Coastal Hand Therapy – Hand Therapist Locum Position - Whitianga Clinic
Looking to experience a change of pace or lifestyle while still earning a competitive contract rate? Coastal Hand Therapy is seeking an experienced registered Hand Therapist to join our team on a short-term basis (minimum 5-month contact) to cover maternity leave, with potential to extend. Beginning May-June 2025, this position will be based in Whitianga clinic with the opportunity to do clinics in Thames if desired/required.
Coastal Hand Therapy is a private practice clinic based in the beautiful Mercury Bay on the Coromandel Peninsula and has a satellite clinic in Thames.
We service a variety of clients ranging from simple hand injuries (fractures and sprains), to multi trauma and complex injuries. We provide post-operative interventions and a comprehensive assessment, treatment and rehabilitation plan for clients. Work hours and location are negotiable with the successful applicant.
We welcome enquiries from Registered New Zealand Hand Therapist’s with 2-3yr+ clinical experience, including a broad experience in assessing and treating a variety of hand/wrist injuries and conditions, along with good splinting skills, including thermoplastic splinting.
