If you’re a senior hand therapist who values clinical excellence, autonomy, and working in a progressive, people-focused team, this role is for you. Auckland Hand Rehab is seeking an experienced Hand Therapist to join our Remuera clinic within the busy One Health GP & Urgent Care, offering high-quality referrals and a forward-thinking, outcomes-driven practice.

The Role

This is a clinically satisfying role with genuine variety, including:

• Acute upper limb injuries from onsite urgent care and general practice
• Post-operative hand therapy rehabilitation for local surgeons
• A broad mix of simple through to complex presentations
• Strong referral pathways and excellent inter-professional support

You will be working closely alongside urgent care doctors, physios and orthopaedic hand surgeons in a collaborative clinical environment.

You’ll be a confident, motivated clinician who enjoys working at a high standard.

You will bring:

• Full hand therapy registration and relevant hand therapy experience
• Strong clinical reasoning and excellent communication skills
• A proactive approach to patient outcomes and service quality
• The ability to work independently while thriving in a supportive team environment

Optional opportunity: involvement in mentoring, supervision, or teaching junior staff (if that’s an area you enjoy or want to develop).
