All About Hands

Kia ora! Experienced hand therapists, Jill and Michelle, started All About Hands with a dream; to have a business that provides fantastic hand therapy care and is a great place to be a hand therapist. We have put in some hard mahi, building the business over four and a half years and are proud to be achieving both of these aims and to be growing each month. We are now a team of four and our team culture is second to none!

Learning and growing are part of All About Hands culture and staff have access to formal education opportunities, internal inservices, regular supervision and we take opportunities to work collaboratively whenever it's needed. We don't do 'stuck in a rut'! We also offer a multidisciplinary environment with physios and GPs on site.

We're thrilled to have achieved ACC contract accreditation earlier this year. We have a comprehensive system for quality improvement and are looking to make things better all the time. We are details-people, want things to be done well and know the value of delivering on our promises.

Both client and staff achievements are celebrated at All About Hands. Clients are treated as individuals, with their therapy tailored to that. We allow our therapists the time to get to know clients, to ensure patients' goals drive their rehab and optimum results are achieved.

If this sounds like the kind of place you'd like to spend time and you have a 'team-playing, client-centered, strive-for-the-best' attitude, you may be the number five we are looking for. You'll need to be great with people and committed to growing into your best self as a therapist and to becoming part of the team. You'll also need to be a registered OT or Physio with either experience in Hand Therapy or be underway with your training. Pay will be assessed based on your experience and if you are training we will tailor a package to suit.

We're looking for someone to start soon, but start date and hours are negotiable. We know changing workplaces isn't something anyone takes lightly, so are available to discuss your potential move in the strictest confidence. You're welcome to speak to our other therapists, before you make the leap. We invite you to come and visit or catch up with us over zoom.
